Coaches: Free entry for coaches. All coaches must show proof of 2020 Coaches Certification that can be obtained at www.aautaekwondo.org after completing the online Certification course.

Officials: All officials and coaches who wish to work this events must hold a current 2020 coach’s or officials’ credentials. Coaches and officials must be in proper attire to be allowed on the floor. Please see  AAU handbook.

Athlete Requirements:

Age Determination: Athletes shall compete at their age as of December 31, 2020. Divisions are for ages 5 thru adults, novice thru black belt.

AAU Membership: All athletes, coaches, and officials MUST be individual members of AAU and present their membership card at the time of their check-in. To register, go to www.aautaekwondo.org.

Uniform Requirements: All competitors must wear a clean, white dobok.

Equipment Requirements: Please refer to the proper pages in the 2020 AAU Taekwondo handbook for mandatory and optional equipment requirements for Olympic and Point sparring respectively.

Scoring: Daedo PSS – electronic chest and head gear will be provided. All sparring competitors have to bring Daedo gen2 socks or rent at venue.

Rules: AAU Taekwondo Rules as documented in the 2020 AAU Taekwondo Handbook shall apply. All officials must have the current handbook in their possession. To obtain a handbook, go to www.aautaekwondo.org.

Schedule of Events

There will be a limited amount of space for spectators and preference will be given to registered athletes and coaches. The staging times are approximate and may change as events finish. You must be ready at least one hour prior to your event and be listening when your event is called!!

8:30 AM             Credential pick up

8:45 AM             Coaches/Officials Meeting

9:00 AM             Poomsae (Children 5-11 yrs followed by cadets/juniors12-17 and adults 18+)

11:00 PM           Olympic sparring (Children 5-11 yrs followed by cadets/juniors12-17 and adults 18+)

3:00 PM             Point Sparring (Children 5-11 yrs followed by cadets/juniors12-17 and adults 18+)
